What to do with *pricey~gold* -weapons-? - Guild Wars Forums

I have this question hovering on top of my head for months now, and decided to bring it on to everyone.. although I'm sure people also have this same decision problem at times.

Ok. I've been saving up for quite a while, and apparently I'm probably going to buy bunch of rare skin items ~ instead of FoW armor; and my buying spree might start at the end of this month to early next month ~ once I get enough ectos; and if I don't change my mind. :////

You know, I see you guys selling these perfects at high end forum. *WTS Crystalline Sword!!! c/o 2000 ectos!!*

It's such an expensive item that you can literally buy an FoW set, 20 times over. I mean... Personally I only have 3 perfect golds I keep (costumized) ~ chaos, fellblade (classics) and a plat bow; that is pvp ready; other than that is greens and collector stuff.

So I am asking the high end traders ~ people high up the food chain, and everyone else... What in the world do you do with those *golds* that is worth anywhere from 500k ~ all the way to the retardedly pricey crystallines, dwarvens, serpents and req7's...

Um...

To be honest I buy them and never use them again. When browsing through my inventory I look at them and am happy to own something rare and worth a rediculous amount of gold.

I have yet to customize everything I own but am planning to do it for pvp even though I dont pvp much lol.

Ive spent maybe 1-2 million on my monk and the only thing I use her for is farming lol. I hate monking so all her nice items sit in her inventory looking pretty.

I find I have one or two favourite items which I use all the time on each char. E.g. on my warrior I use a 15>50 summit axe or 15>50 longsword with a +30hp -5 20% summit warlord shield / +30hp -5 20% tall shield. My necro always uses a 10/10 ghostly staff, my ele uses a 8/8 orrish earth staff and my ranger always uses a 15>50 dead bow.

TBH my item collection is the biggest waste of space. I never use anything other than a few items.

Heh, same here. Sometimes I wonder why I went through the trouble to get them in the first place, but they're so shiiiiiiiny

Anything i get worth a ridiculous amount i resell, and only customize high req cheap items. I prefer to have 5 req 12 than one req 8 for the same price. I rarely drop my mastery below 15, although i do keep a req 8 of every weapon type just in case.
